What is the difference between film capacitors and electrolytic capacitors?

Film capacitor: Film capacitor is a capacitor constructed by overlapping metal foil as electrode and plastic film such as polyethylen, polypropylene, polystyrene or polycarbonate from both ends, and then winding it into a cylinder.
Electrolytic capacitor: Electrolytic capacitor is a kind of capacitor, the metal foil is the positive pole (aluminum or tantalum), the oxide film (aluminum oxide or tantalum pentoxide) which is close to the positive pole is the dielectric, the cathode is composed of conductive material, electrolyte (electrolyte can be liquid or solid) and other materials together, because electrolyte is the main part of the cathode, electrolytic capacitor is thus named.
At the same time, the positive and negative electrolytic capacitors cannot be connected wrongly. Aluminum electrolytic capacitors can be divided into four categories: leaded aluminum electrolytic capacitors; bullhorn aluminum electrolytic capacitors; bolted aluminum electrolytic capacitors; and solid state aluminum electrolytic capacitors.
