Because the capacity of fixed amperometric capacitors below 10pF is too small, measurement with multimeter can only qualitatively check whether there is leakage, internal short circuit or breakdown phenomenon. When measuring, you can choose multimeter R×10k block, use two pens to connect two pins of capacitor respectively, the resistance value should be infinity. If the measured resistance (pointer swing to the right) is zero, it means that the capacitor is damaged by leakage or internal breakdown.
2、Detect whether the 10PF～0 01μF fixed amperometric capacitor has charging phenomenon, and then judge its good or bad. Multimeter selection R × 1k block. The β value of the two transistors are more than 100, and the penetration current should be small. 3DG6 and other models of silicon triode can be used to form a composite tube. Multimeter red and black pens are connected with the emitter e and collector c of the composite tube. Due to the amplification of the composite transistor, the process of charging and discharging the capacitor under test is amplified, so that the multimeter pointer swing amplitude increased, thus facilitating observation. It should be noted that: in the test * work, especially in the measurement of smaller capacity of the safety capacitor, to repeatedly switch the measured capacitor pin contact A, B two points, in order to obviously see the multimeter pointer swing.
