The frequency characteristics of capacitors is an important indicator that manufacturers are concerned about, and it is related to the success or failure of a product design. It is closely related to the materials and manufacturing methods used in capacitors. The difference in performance of capacitor products made by different materials and methods is huge, and capacitor manufacturers will choose different materials and methods according to the use of capacitors.
As the frequency applied to both ends of the capacitor increases, the loss of the capacitor increases, the capacity decreases, and the withstand voltage decreases. The film capacitors we produce are tested for frequency characteristics before they are sold, and our tests are described below.
Film capacitor working frequency characteristics test
1. Select a connection on the adjustable frequency voltage source, the temperature sensor solid capacitor.
2. Turn on the adjustable frequency voltage source, scheduling to the appropriate voltage value, frequency scheduling to low, and observe the waveform with a storage oscilloscope.
3. Vertically increase the frequency to 30khz for 10 minutes and record the temperature value, then increase the frequency by 5khz for 10 minutes and record the temperature value.
4. When it reaches 80khz, increase 1khz each time and keep 10 minutes and record the temperature value until it reaches the high working temperature of the capacitor and stop the test.
