In physics, when a capacitor is connected to an AC circuit, the charge carried on the pole plate of the capacitor has a hindering effect on the directional moving charge called capacitive resistance, which is represented by the letter Xc. In layman’s terms, an amperometric capacitor is like a server connected to a network that stores and deletes data, while an amperometric capacitor also has the function of charging and discharging in a circuit, and is an energy storage container.
When the safety capacitor is connected to the AC circuit, the capacitor is also charging and discharging because the size and direction of the AC current changes with time, and the charge on the plate pole of the capacitor has a hindering effect on the charge that occurs directional movement, and we call this hindering effect the capacitor’s capacitive reactance, which is expressed by letters, and its size is calculated by the formula Xc=1/2πfc. And according to the formula we can see: AC frequency is high, the capacitor capacity is large, the capacitor capacitive resistance is small. Therefore, the capacitor has the role of blocking DC through AC, blocking low frequency through high frequency.
Why is there a “capacitive resistance” thing? When the amperometric capacitor is connected to the AC power supply, when the voltage rises, the charge gathers on the pole plate of the capacitor, forming a charging current; when the voltage decreases, the charge leaves the pole plate, forming a discharge current. When the capacitor is charged and discharged alternately, there is a current in the circuit, which is expressed as AC “through” the capacitor. But when we charge the capacitor at the same time, the charge accumulated on the two pole plates will repel the charge that will reach the two pole plates, so there will be an obstruction to the alternating current, this obstruction is “capacitive resistance”.

Then the capacitive resistance will be affected by what? Under the condition of certain voltage, the capacitance of the amperometric capacitor is large, the charge moving in the circuit per unit time is large, and the current will rise, so the capacitance of the alternating current is small, that is, the capacitance is small; when the voltage of alternating current is certain, the frequency of alternating current is high, the circuit is filled and discharged frequently, the charge moving rate per unit time is large, and the current is large, the capacitance of the alternating current is The effect is small, that is, the capacitive resistance is small.
