Polystyrene film capacitor, with low dielectric loss and high insulation resistance, but with high temperature coefficient, can be used in high frequency circuit.
Film capacitors can be divided into DC film capacitors and AC film capacitors: DC film capacitors are film capacitors working in circuits powered by DC power supply, which can be divided into four categories: general-purpose, power supply electromagnetic interference suppression, pulse and precision; AC film capacitors are film capacitors working in circuits powered by AC power supply, which can be divided into motor starting operation, power factor compensation, etc. Electrolytic capacitors: leaded aluminum electrolytic capacitors; bullhorn aluminum electrolytic capacitors; bolted aluminum electrolytic capacitors; solid state aluminum electrolytic capacitors.
